Mental Health Therapists Landing Page

Project Context

Role: UX Designer/Web Developer

Date: June 2021

Project Status: Launched

Feature Team: Content Strategist (Varied), Director of Digital Marketing

Since being brought onboard Embark has expanded rapidly, having opened multiple new locations in the time I've been here. One of our major pain points is hiring mental health therapists. There is a shortage of therapists. We decided we needed to launch a social media campaign strictly geared towards hiring more therapists for our programs. My job in this was to create the landing pages that these social media ads would be directed to.

As the only UX designer on this project I was given the job details and some specification on benefits, then was allowed to lead the process from there.

Insights

#1 Give the primary information users will want upfront, sections need to be clear and labeled appropriately

For these job landing pages it's clear that users want a larger quantity of information and would want as much information about the job and benefits as they could find. Adding sections that discuss the benefits as well as why they should desire a job at Embark was very important.

#2 Sign-on bonus requires separate highlight within the landing page.

Stakeholder emphasized the importance of having the sign-on bonus as a huge selling point for applying to this position, due to this I knew we needed to add a popup into the page after a user has stayed for a certain about of time.

#3 Users needed a way to connect with someone regarding job related questions.

This landing page was not going to lead to the rest of the website. Users need a way to contact someone who can help answer any lingering questions that they may have about the job.

User Stories

#1 As a job seeker I want to understand all qualifications of the job I am interested in and have an easy way to apply.

#2 As a job seeker I want a way to get in contact with the job poster to ask more questions if the information I am looking for isn't available on the website.

Brainstorm Sessions

This project has a very quick deadline on it. Myself, the director, and content strategist sat down during a meeting and created a quick story board for these landing pages and social media ads. This is internal.

High Fidelity Prototype

Highlights

#1 Additions of benefits section and contact form for user clarity.

#2 CTA's placed throughout the job ad to encourage application.

Adding these various buttons through the page made it easier for the user to apply once they made their decision. These cta's were places after content that was substantial

#3 Embark culture is clear through the entire job post as well as through the design.

Culture is very important at Embark, this is highlighted through the design, the additions of benefits and why embark sections and especially made clear by the addition of having its mission stated in the beginning of the ad.
